St Regis

For the bar of St Regis hotel in Kazakhstan, the Celine Alexandre studio has been chosen to realize an artwork. In collaboration with Georgian born artist Aigana Gali now based in London.

On the 4 meters long canvas, the studio has applied its iconic contemporary pattern, like an echo to the historical phoenix beloved by the country.

The original canvas has been enhanced by gold leaves, to bring the effect of a constellation, on the foggy sky initially executed by the artist.

A rich collaboration that makes sens by linking Paris and central Asia, a demonstration of savoir-faire on a large surface, delicate by its fragile nature.
